Procedure for requesting a local GEPSA SOP

During the GEP information session held yesterday, 28 August 2025, the procedure for requesting a local standard operating procedure (SOP) under GEPSA was briefly presented.

Please find attached the GEPSA internal SOP [Ref. GEPSA.I.001.1(1)] detailing the procedure to follow when submitting a request to GEPSA for the drafting of a new local SOP. The purpose of this SOP is to provide guidance and clear timelines for the process, to ensure improved efficiency, accountability and transparency.

Please review the procedure carefully to ensure all requests are submitted in line with the guidance provided in the SOP, to guarantee efficient and timeous processing of requests.
